Yeah, that must be it. I didn't find your bug, BTW, I would've reopened
it. Not supporting it is one thing, but failing so ungracefully is still
a problem.
Also, this is the first time I hear about not supporting multiple casts.
I frequently run several of them and multiple casts always work
correctly (shrug). `gaze voyeur' is a minor thing, it could pick up the
latest cast or simply bail out with a message, but the casting seems to
be unaffected by other parallel casts.

Anyway, line 821 of gaze should read
