Ain't it the truth! I sometimes worry that my eye is so far out of focus
with the mainstream that I can't ever "make a hit record" to mix my
metaphors.

Just now we're thinking once again about how to present a Pc booth at
Oregon's annual craft show, music and vaudville extravaganza and summer gene
exchange ;)
What will draw people into a look at Pc and be transportable by hand or
cart, not overly verbal, do it in approximately 30 seconds, etc. This is in
a non-prophet area, so we can't sell anything. (I've toyed with the idea of
a commercial booth, but competition for those is intense and takes years.
Everything's juried in, too!

I've thought of a water feature (it's often hot during the fair) but the
cost and difficulty of having it "settled in" for the ephemeral event have
kept me from trying that.

Back to ponds again- I enjoy muddy (bottom) ponds full of life; it's odd to
me that most don't. Have you ever turned alligator and gone in with a
snorkel & mask? So much to see! Recently I was at a workshop where almost
everyone either went in the 56 degree (F) creek or didn't swim, because the
pond (68 degree) had plants and tadpoles!
