My best guess is that the tree would be at least 20% smaller and the 106
would sucker. Also if trees are exposed to winds, brittle varieties (those
with Golden in the parents or triploids) will break.

Now, if I do not bury the lower union, what size would you guess I'd get?

Hardiness is not a problem here, but should I be burying the union?
