Could some of the build-up be from irrigation?

I would be comcerned where this build-up was coming from,
it may show up first in the hoop where the applications are more concentrated, but how long before it shows up in field crops.

In greenhouse bench and pot crops the procedure would be to flush repeatedly untill the sodium is reduced, but for the soil under hoops you would need some kind of excellent drinage. You may have to investigate rotating crops that will take up the salt so that you can pull them out and get rid of it.
