Mike,
I was with you there until you
asked about the wrong side. I do understand why this case is so important
to Monsanto - although they are the ones that sued first as I understand it, not
Schmeiser. I agree that if they became liable, or even if their growers
became liable for genetic drift, the wind would blow in another direction pretty
quick.
When you say "We might all be
rooting for the wrong side", what do you mean? Can you tell more about
what side you think it would be helpful to root for? And why?
