What we have today is thousands of untested chemicals, genetically

slow is a good thing - as it allows for the fallout of any innovation to be
noticed and adjusted. I use and appreciate a lot of what has been developed
by our present fast track method, Kevin, but I think that the health of the
planet would be better had we gone slower. We and the planet will be
hundreds of years if not thousands, catching up with our exploded
innovation.

Oh I suppose you could go to Cuba where things of this nature don't
exist
however you would soon find yourself hungry clinging to an old World
War Two
Inner Tube hoping the tide would drag you BACK to the U.S. of A.
without
running into a shark!

I have read about Cuba. In fact, pharmaceutical and other corporate
employees have traveled there in hopes to get contracts when business opens
up once the embargo is lifted. They have been pleasantly surprised to see
what Cuba is like. There are some bad things about Cuba, and there are also
some good things, if you can get past the age old propaganda to look for a
few good things. As there are some bad things about the US, and some good
things.

That is called Socialism and it has FAILED everywhere it has been tried.

Kevin, apparently you have not read about much of human existance. People
have been living communally for a major portion of our human existance, for
mutual good, and that was before socialism was even invented.

Nor have you studied about the countries that have been devastated, where
democracy has been repressed, because of our capitalistic habits.

We seem have conflicting world views:^)
