####Nope, they don't. In this state the dept. of ag inpects meat if you are
over 1000 birds, over 20,000 USDA takes over. Under 1000 you are exempt, it
just has to be labeled uninspected. People can sell meat that is not USDA
approved under certain conditions. My problem is with my county, they do
not allow the sale of meat retail and THEY take PRECEDENT over the state.
We're using the term meat interchangeably with poultry, and that is not
really the case. Regs are different if it is meat, but still it can be done
here,

##### not always so, it would still be a good idea to check all avenues.
Even still, you'll get a different answer depending on which agency you are
dealing with.

###again, not always neccessarily so. How many birds did you do last year?
And how did you market them?
