Couldn't agree more with what you are saying Lynda. It is more
important now than ever that we look out for ourselves and cut our
dependency on the government wherever we can. Rahm Emmanuel
stated in earlier speeches that healthcare and global warming were
areas where they could bring about a redistribution of wealth. I don't
think they ever were serious about the promises being made and had
greater goals in mind.

Now if they can get the census numbers to come in the way they want
and shift the population numbers to their districts and states they can
shift perhaps dozens of republican seats to the democrats for the next
10 years without having to win an election in a tough district to do it.
Now
that they have ACORN approved again to participate, I think we will see
them accomplish that goal.

I was also disappointed with the secret inclusion of college loans in the
healthcare bill. It has no relation and should have been a separately
debated
issue. With 2 kids in college, the idea that no one can compete with the
government for the loan dollars is scary. This means that you force nearly
every college student in the US to start out life indebted to the
government.
One more way of controlling us. It all reminds me of the old company store
model where you house the workers and provide the store for them to buy
from but the tab they run for everything is owed to the employer so you can
never quit.

What I don't understand is why people who voted for him didn't do their
homework OR listen to him. The funny thing is that he made a speech about
one of the great downfalls of the American people, the failure to actually

listen. And this great downfall is what he counted on.

He said precisely what he was going to do: up the anti in Afghanistan,
Zero
to Five, healthcare his way whether the American public wanted it or not,
and so forth and so on.

Did no one actually read his book. And I mean actually read it and then
follow the breadcrumbs he left in the book. I think most of the folks on
this list were in college at some point or another. You yellow
highlighted
and then you delved deeper into those parts to better understand what was
being said.

He campaigned on "transparency." He slashed just about every Repub out
there as being sneaky, sneaky, sneaky. I'll put my meeting on CSAN, blah,
blah, blah. No lobbyists, blah, blah, blah. No political payoffs, blah,
blah, blah. Doesn't anyone consider it a slap in the face that from day
one
he went full steam ahead with secret meetings, lobbyists, political
payoffs
and sealed records?

Get your piece of land paid off, save your seeds (follow the Monsanto
trail
in his cabinet) and prepare for WTSHTF!

As to TJ, silly man, it's a Constitutional, federalist representative
republic, NOT a democracy! <g>
