I challenge each and every person on this list to read the healthcare bills
from both the House and the Senate. And the reconciliation sections. Not
the summaries or the Cliff notes (lies) put out by the White House. The real
deal, full text.

The American public is ignorant and they choose to continue to be ignorant.
Thus the name sheople.

The sheople are being manipulated because they don't want to be seen as
meanies, or to have the old Nazi/Hitler type of b.s. thrown at them (beating
up an orphan is what telling the truth is called).

Example: big media splash today about those evil insurance companies.
Family has baby with heart condition. Evil insurance companies claim it is a
pre-existing condition and refuse health insurance.

Now, the average sheople is suppose to think exactly what they are thinking:
insurance company is dropping the baby because of the condition. Then the
news media goes into a spiel about how can it be pre-existing when the baby
is newborn.

The FACTS, not my opinions or the screaming of fire in a movie theater are as
follows: family does NOT have health insurance. The own their own business
and CHOOSE not to buy health insurance for themselves. At some point, they
bought policies for their two older children. They did NOT attempt to buy
insurance for the baby until AFTER they were told the baby needed heart
surgery. Ah, that would be a pre-existing condition.

Not the same as what the media would like you to think.

Ya know, a lot of ya lived through the 60s and 70s. What the hell happened
to "question authority"? Did y'all get too complascent? Too establishment?
Did y'all become your parents?

I just watched a powerpoint presentation on Argentina. Basically, they
were drawing parallels of Argentine 20th century politics, to include
the Peron era and massive spending through the resulting hyperinflation
era, to current US happenings. I suppose it is fear mongering, but I
did find the parallels interesting. Search it and read up, if you are
interested.
