Wow; some people are easily frightened. I watched the video. It's kind of
New Age, full of hope and change and good wishes; personal pledges of how
the celebrities will try to make the world a better place ("I pledge to not
give the finger when driving"). I guess some people find that creepy (the
same kind of person who said "we have a creep in the White House"...Lonely
Conservative), but I don't see how it's socialist. I just did some reading,
and that video was made to be shown to Obama at his inauguration, showing
support from Demi Moore and friends. I don't know why it was shown in a
school, and, as far as I can tell, Obama had nothing to do with it.. Er;
unless he mind-controlled Demi Moore into making it.

I also found this:
http://www.slate.com/id/2108852/
"I care about freedom and liberty. I care about my family. I care about my
country. Because I care, I promise to work hard to re-elect, re-elect George
W. Bush as president of the United States." - a pledge by 2,000 Bush fans,
directed by Sen. Pruitt in Florida. It just shows that 'pledging' to a
president is nothing new.

It amazes me that people seem to think Obama can do some kind of voodoo and
seduce their children. Are children today empty-brained vessels waiting to
be taken over? Mine never were. No matter how young, they thought for
themselves; it's the most important thing I ever taught them.

Here's the deal:
I think some people are scared that his upcoming nationwide message to
schoolchildren will be similar to the video that was shown to
schoolchildren in Utah several months ago. Hopefully, since this video
was made (by Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher around the time of the
inauguration), the administration will have learned some lessons and
will be toning down the message, especially after all the 'Obama the
Socialist' hoopla. If the upcoming message is in any way similar to the
I pledge message, President Obama is in trouble and I think it will be
extremely difficult to live down the 'Socialist' The three URL's below
all contain the video, which you can watch. I can't watch the video so
I have to rely on the print stories, but it does sound, as the
'lonelyconservative' site suggests, a bit creepy to me. Surely Obama's
message next week won't be like this...
