That has also become part of policy in places like the UK. The put a dolar
amount on health care and the value of life with tyhe ratio declingin as you
age. When you reach a certain age, they cipher whter another year of your
life is worth the expense to the system. There have already been calls for
this in this country with medicare. I can't remeber the name of the policy,
at the moment, but it does put a value -- ithink it averages like $35, 000
total for someone over an age like 70 or 72 -- they use life span statistics
as part of the formula.............
