Speaking of tractors, has anyone every heard of a Dresser? The neighbor has a couple of them sitting in his yard at the moment. Well, one tractor and one bulldozer. A mini-bulldozer.

Hey gang,

We have an opportunity to buy a John Deere 750 tractor. It's 4WD with Diesel
Yanmar engine, a 1984 model with 638 hours. It comes with a bush hog, blade
and scoop. It's supposed to "run well" but may need brakes in the future.
The current owners are the second owners and they were told as much by the
first owner, they have not replaced the brakes nor did they think it needed
brakes yet.

The asking price on Craigslist is $5800. I am new to Craigslist, can I offer
less or is that pretty much the price?

What in particular should we inspect or be on the look-out for when we look
at it?

Here's a link to the tractor (w/ pictures):

Thank you!

I know Don is one of the tractor guys, is he in transit again?
