It would be interesting to see if I could have artesian
flow into the house instead of gravity, or electricity.
What about a pipe with metal "wings" or a scoop like
appendage at the bottom that could direct the flow into
the pipe?

If Tvo were still with us he would write a long post detailing all the possibilities.

Nothing I know that will lift that water except a pump. There are many, both ancient and modern. Now, should you decide to become an expert on pumps, we would all be most grateful.
