Growing coffee trees
I am growing 400 coffee trees in my greenhouse.
I started by presoaking my seeds.
After aprox. 2 months the seeds started to sprout, it took so long I almost gave up and tossed the seeds thinking they were bad.
I keep the plants above 65 degrees and place outside in the summer. Keep moist but not enough to drown the roots.
Although I started all the seeds at the same time, the plants are of different heights and shade of green with some showing variated leaves.
They have been growing for two years with the tallest reaching 2'.

There is a slight chance that a bank owns it, if there was a
construction loan. Strong evidence of owner financing is again the
lack of code-required stair rails. Without a final inspection and
Certificate of Occupancy, or whatever such is called there, a
financial institution would be loathe to make a loan and, if
government-insured, could not do so. A land loan, though, might have
been made, either through a local bank or by the prior land owner.

Absolutely. Also the land issue of 50+ acres. It if was a construction loan
and you have to get a new one to finish, lenders dislike taking on projects
that have been started.

Around here, stair rails get forgotten until the C.O. or is the last thing
done on the house. Don't know why, just is. Saw it repeatedly on appraisals
of new construction and even on appraisals of refi where the owner had got
away with it (or promised to install but never did--we had a former County
Inspection person who was known to sometime look the other way), and the
appraiser caught it and it became a condition by the Underwriter.

In this case, I conjecture
that the husband had a passion to build this innovative house, that
led to financial strain for the family, and that led to psychological
pain so strong that the wife went mad.

A couple more thoughts:
1) The neighbor may be purposely driving buyers away;
2) The house actually has greater value due to the publicity.

All of that occurred to me, too, while doing paperwork this a.m. after my
last post. This house certainly is an interesting place and gives one much
to ponder.

Good luck w/ your pondering, Celia. I'm sure you'll report in.
