No, I'm not, but he clearly said he condemned his former pastor's words. He called Wright's words ...profoundly distorted view of this country...wrong and divisive....racially charged when we need to come together..to solve problems that confront us all".

I don't think he's idolizing Wright.

What I meant was you just can't ascribe one man's words to someone else just because they keep company. I associate with a lot of people who have value to me, even if one or more of their views are (to my way of thinking) flat out wrong.

be Roman Catholic but I am not responsible for what the Pope says, you
