Well, Bill, you are obviously off your meds again. The desperation seeps in and you start ranting about either the colleges in California or dropping comments such as the one below about Jews to stop the conversation.

You weren't correct about how the USDA figures DM/AU/AC and now you start the frantic "screaming" and "flaming."

BTW, the first time I heard them called animal units was in a class at UC Davis in 1967. *Real* ranchers don't use the term au IRL, they talk how many head they can run on x pasture at y time of year.

Oh yeah, I can just see it now, Grampa sat down at his computer and said "Why hot damn, I'll bet that field over yonder can handle 25 animal units this spring because it has medium DM but I'll have to rotate them to high DM pasture for the second rotation because using my USDA chart this pasture is only good for six weeks of sustained grazing.

Me thinks perchance you were out in the sun too long in Southern California! Enjoy talking to yourself, Bill.

Well, "Lynda", I've provided your feeble little brain everything it
takes to prove me wrong. Simply go to some ads for real ranches, unlike
your Beltway condo, some in Kentucky and some in Humboldt. Pick the 25%
that score the highest in ac. / a. u. to eliminate places with a nice
water flow. And _show_ us that there's no difference in grazing quality
between your dead hills and Kentucky's green ones. You won't, because
you can't stand the light of day. So lets' hear it: ac. / a. u. for
your place? The other day was the first time you ever heard of animal
units, wasn't it?

Like those Jews who continued plagued the "natives" in Germany:
