Yes, and near four of those gaudy casinos, monuments to greed and stupidity.

It's not so much that they're foreign. Individual enterprise was effectively shut down during the 1929 to 1945 period. Large corporate farms pay cents per animal to meet the various requirements of government; you might pay hundreds. You'll probably find that it's the same if you try to go out and sell a hot dog, and try to compete with someone who's paid good money to have their storefront monopoly. I thought that you, of all people, would understand how it works. Having complete control over where every penny goes has made a handy framework for targeting American industries.

Gee, wearing that tin foil hat again? Do you have a clue how many LARGE corporate farms have foreign owners?

I'm a moderate environmentalist, but I can't speak for the Sierra Club.
I do realize that it's in the best interest of foreign corporations if
American production grinds to a halt. When we hear about extreme
restrictions that penalize and discourage industry, even the greener
ones, you just have to wonder whether politicians have been working for
us, or for those who would profit from shutting us down. Having wolves
at large in the woods can maybe help to frighten us back to the city.
