Just one question for any and all who are responding, did you serve?

The housing was part of the package they were promised when they signed on the dotted line and it included the utitlities. Do you seriously think these folks are just slepping along burning up as much power as they can? *Most* of them are just getting buy on military pay!

And what difference does it make if your father took advantage of his position. Does that mean that because he did everyone does? Besides which, he probably should have been paid a hell of a lot more than the value of a few batteries.

I thought the original issue was whether dependents in the military
housing would be allowed to burn up as much subsidized electricity as
they please, while some people in Europe are paying $0.25 per kWh. I
hesitate to ask, but does anyone have any idea what sort of sweetheart
deal they currently enjoy? Just some accurate rate quotes would be
informative.

Bill (whose dad could have practically run the whole house on batteries
obtained from the quartermaster)
