Back when I had fewer and smaller kids, we would freeze whole eggs in
babyfood jars (1 or 2 in each jar) Handy for cooking in recipes only
calling for a couple eggs. Easy to store, and convenient.

Do you ever freeze eggs? Hardboiled perhaps or out of
>the shell like egg beaters?

I used to freeze eggs. Beat the eggs thoroughly, then put into ice
cube trays and freeze, then dump into gallon plastic freezer bags.

Trivia: a female chick is hatched bearing the nucleus of every egg
she will ever lay, and thousands more.
