I'll have to look at the FHS and see what they say. Of course, not all
*nix systems are FHS compliant, but Linux and (some) BSD aim to be, so
it's probably a good default.I agree that the version bump is a good time
to change this type of default.

I was hoping to say a few words about getting SybSQL (Qt based Sybase
interface program, kinda nifty) working in the UG, so I tried compiling it
and came across two issues. One, dbspr1row() is broken and I have a
one-liner patch for that. Two, SybSQL reads $SYBASE/interfaces for a list
of servers, I know this issue came up in the list and we discussed writing
a freetds.conf -> interfaces converter. Did anything become of this, or
should I write one and put it in the apps directory?
