I think that once we settle on the 6L6 as the proper tube (and I think
we should even thought there's going to be some Marshal fans that will
tell us the cookies taste better, but only if the amp is cranked way
up) the issue then become, which 6L6 is the best.
My guess is that groovetubes and cherry bombs are not going to provide
the same kind of even heat as a GE.
I look forward to the review in the tips section of my next issue of
Cook's.
