I voted early simply out of anxiety. This election is important
enough that I didn't want some fluke occurence to keep me away from
the polls next Tuesday. That and the (honestly) more trivial reason
that I happened to have today off. Probably would have been simpler
and easier on Tuesday, but... you just never know. I could also be
hit by a bus Tuesday morning, or abducted by aliens. Or Republicans.

Waited one hour at Wake County Board of Elections in downtown Raleigh
today around 3. The mood there was upbeat and positive, even with the
wait. Voting is good. Everyone should do it. CAC
