I guess it might depend on how you look at it. I was looking at it that the
store would be party A exchangeing files with another party B. There would be
no necessity for money to change hands in connection with the exchange. In
other words, there could be weeks of exchanges and no money changeing hands.
But, if the store sold blank CDs as a convenience, you could argue the case
both ways. Who wants to argue the case before the courts.
My whole motivation would be to spread CC works and for me just as
importantly, the ideas of alternate copyright licenses, especially copyleft
type licenses. So for my purposes, NC works are sub optimal as I prefer
copyleft type licenses. (Or ones that come close while better ones are worked
on.)

Yes, but that's probably too much work. I may put up an offer on the company
web site that would allow NC work authors to contact us if they want their
works hosted. This machine would be more for people who do not have high
speed connections and for people who might also like recommendations.
