i just dfor shutdown, i just did this and it worked fine:

add this line to your jwm menu:

<Program label="Shutdown">poweroff</Program>

in BL3 the poweroff command unmounts everything
and shuts down the system. the only thing it
doesn't do is actually turn off the power
... which is kind of odd, considering that the command
is called "poweroff". anyway, all the user has left to do
is to actually turn off the power button.
