Hi there
Apologies for the slow response; I've been away for a week.
Thanks for your help! ...it looks like we are getting closer to a solution.
I have listed the output from fdisk -l below
I presume that you install the vfat module manually using the command below?
insmod vfat.o
All the best
Simon
fdisk -l:
Disk /dev/hda: 6495 MB, 6495068160 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track. 789 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes
Device Boot Start End Blocks ID System
/dev/hda1 * 1 128 1028128+ 6 FAT16
hdc: hdc1
hdc: drive_cmd: status=0x51 {DriveReady SeekComplere Error}
hdc: drive_cmd: error=0x04 {DriveStatusError}
Disk /dev/hdc: 538 MB, 538804224 bytes
32 heads, 63 sectors/track, 522 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 2016 * 512 = 1032192 bytes
Device Boot Start End Blocks ID System
dev/hdc1 * 1 522 525640+ 6 FAT16
Partition 1 has different physical/logical endings:
phys=(521, 31, 63) logical=(521, 15, 63)
