This error probably occurs because the drive
is taking time coming up to speed and is not
immediately readable.

Are those figures correct for your drive?
Is it a CDrom drive or standard harddrive?

It doesn't like the way the disk was formatted.
Are we able to reformat the disk or do you want
to keep the data on it?
