Most users will never need this. They will point
and click. However, I think it is nice that these
keybindings are available and are easily configurable.

So you solved your problem? What was it?

I regularly run eznet as a user. It works fine.
And the only time eznet changes file permissions
for me is when I don't terminate it cleanly
(eg pressing CTRL-ALT-DEL while ppp is still up).

No, I startx (as user), bring up the menu and
click on ppp-on.

tty1::respawn:/bin/sh -sc startx
