Here are the original headers of that mail, as sent from here:

^^ That header is added by mutt when you reply to a mailing list.
It helps the listserver prevent duplicates, according the mutt
manual.

So I don't understand why you got that weird 'To:' header. Perhaps
another gmail screwup?

Or maybe you need to hit the equivalent of list-reply. Don't
know if gmail has that option, but mutt does and gmail seems
to be very aware of mailing lists.

Shouldn't. That's just used for the reply address when you hit
Reply. Or that's all it _should_ be used for.

2.4 does. I'm using 2.4.19. Haven't 'upgraded' to 2.6 and
am not likely to.

> What version of libc6 does setserial require?

The _new_ setserial, which my serial card requires:

Version: 2.17-40
Depends: libc6 (>= 2.3.2.ds1-4)

Description: Controls configuration of serial ports Set and/or
report the configuration information associated with a serial
port. This information includes what I/O port and which IRQ a
particular serial port is using. This version has a completely
new approach to configuration, so if you have a setup other than
the standard ttyS0 and 1, you will have to get your hands dirty.

I'm using libc5. Nice and small and stable and 'simple'. I
thought that was the point of BL. If I wanted to use glibc I'd
just install a new slackware base system and build it up from
there.
