Sorry again. That is an older copy of the faq.

I see it there now. Thanks. You may want to clarify this section:

"One additional note has to be made. OpenOffice requires, according to
their website, at least 800x600 resolution. Thus, you probably should
forget xvg16.tgz and download the appropriate X server for your system
from slakware/x1."

OpenOffice worked with the xvg16 server on BL2; this implies that it
only needs 16 colors. The only glitch, aside from the lack of colors,
was that I had to use a window manager to access the menus.

I use both. I continue to use Firefox because it displays
some pages better than Opera (and visa versa).

Is it very difficult to install Firefox on BL2? I suppose I should
just try it and see if it complains about missing libraries.
