Can other people make device files in loop BL3.40?

Yup, works for me. I just made /dev/hde2

I will try loop BL3.40 with your kernel instead of mine and do some more experimenting. With my kernel, every time, I am able to write to the scsi drives but not the loop file when booted with loop BL3.40. But your kernel can't access the scsi drives at all (unless I edit initrd.fs). Maybe I can at least make the device then reboot to scsi kernel.

I would prefer to stick with a kernel that works with USB camera on desktop. We have CF but not SM pcmcia adaptor.

Cheers,
Steven
