You also don't get modules and links.

Not needed for testing with ethernet if the module you use is not included in BL3 anyway.

3c509.o is available at the BL3 site.

I know, but it is small enough to fit on the second
disk even uncompressed.

It's good (but accidental) that there is room on
the second floppy for users to add an odd module.

The 3c509 would not fit. Are there any other common ones that do fit?
We could add resolv.conf and eznet.conf instead.
