Slackware (all versions) has a pre-complied sc
in /slakware/ap1.

matanza is more interesting than you realize:
(1) It is a multi-player server.
(2) It uses standard telnet clients to play.
(3) It displays graphics (via telnet) using ascii art.

Personally I think it is an amazing piece of software.
