Linux plip did not work with one Hercules-type MGA card. Laplink pro for
DOS worked fine with that card. Linux plip worked on five other cards,
one of them in that computer. I never heard of DOS plip, and I don't use
interlnk/intersvr because it tends to freeze up or crash.

Linux plip fails. Llpro works fine, and it also works with either parport.
Linux plip has only worked for me with parport0 and I cannot find
instructions to use with parport1. Llpro figures out what port you are
using somehow.

The above problem occurred only with one card. Plip normally works
(except on two computers with other problems). It worked in this computer
with a different card.

Fs.img is a separate problem. I have been unable to transfer it
successfully (with the same md5sum) on an otherwise working llpro or plip
connection, even if I zipped it first with pkzip.

My fs.img is now over 4M since I added a few things.
I will try interlink where llpro and plip failed.

Yes, I expect it will be a lot easier to transfer the hard drive version
without fs.img in it. I look forward to this version with lilo too.
