Nonsense. All you need is the Xvesa executable (if you
are prepared to live with the built-in fonts).

First of all, Xvesa has no config file. Second, Xvesa
automatically uses whatever mouse you have has /dev/mouse
*and* tries to autodetect the mouse-type.

Why? You are comparing Xvesa to XVGAlib. XVGAlib has no
window manager, so why are you installing one for Xvesa?

You seem very confused about Xvesa.
