My disks have almost the same files but won't load part2. Russ, does your
2-floppy set work (if you made one)?

I also have an AMD-300 with 64M RAM that I put together but have not put
linux on yet. It is my fastest computer. Someone put the motherboard at
the curb two years ago. I think it is 1998. We added RAM and a case and
drives and cards.

These two files are there but hidden.

There is a bzimage in my DOS blinux directory that is the same size
as your bzimage, and it is bare.i. I have been using that when I test
sound. I wonder how you ended up with a floppy disk set that loads bare.i
instead of the basiclinux kernel. It is about the same date as two
other files in there. Perhaps the fd program is trying to loadlin
bzimage and not finding it on my floppy disk set?
