Ok. Didn't yet resolve the netstat matter, but it may not be all that
important. Symlinking the "route" command to /sbin and editing the
/etc/pcmcia/network.opts file has succeeded in getting the machine on the
network, without any manual ifconfig'ing needed. Incidentally, before
restarting the network with those new settings I tried /etc/rc.d/rc/pcmcia
stop , which showed some more missing commands - "fuser" and "rmmod."
rmmod is, of course, in busybox, so I symlinked it accordingly. Fuser
seems not to be on the system anywhere. Shall I make a list of the
various busybox commands that need to be symlinked in /sbin in order to
get pcmcia cards (NIC's, at least) functioning under BL2 Steven? The two
that remain to be resolved are netstat and fuser: these are not on the
system and would apparently need to be added from somewhere. Or are they
unimportant to the system functioning?

Anyway, it looks like I'm close to success in this phase of the project.
I just need to resolve those missing commands and then figure out where
/etc/rc.d/rc.pcmcia start needs to be added for the system to get pcmcia
support going at boot time. Would this be in /etc/rc.d/rc.S?

Thanks, James
