I think I tried it both ways. There is no OK button. I will check again
with a wm to be sure. Perhaps this is a problem with using the mono VGA
monitor and it cutting off the top and bottom of the screen? Will try a
SVGA monitor. But I would rather put my energy into Opera. I hate mice.

I move the mouse arrow to the OK button and hit the left button - the
windows go away. I can still exit Netscape cleanly after that and type
more commands in the xterm (without a wm).

I think cron was deleting logs over a certain age.
So I should not need cron if I stop generating logs?
Sort of academic questions anyway - SuSE is only for practicing on.
