Dear friends of list:
Parsons wrote:

spontaneous changes within Latin as spoken in England, as happen in truly

elsewhere).
In any case, the parallels between the situations of Hebrew and Latin are
not
complete - Latin developed into various daughter languages and Hebrew gave
way
as a spoken tongue to completely different languages."
It´s amazing how easily we talk about the history of Latin in Europe
without taking into account that all the epigraphy of the Roman Empire is
written in reduced Hebrew as the official language used internationally.
As shown in currencies, the language that has been called "old Latin" is
not Latin but Hebrew misread, mistaken for European historiography. [´es
jammam", fire altar, on a coin misread as latin PROVIDENTIA [dat pasat
zaraq].

Although the epigraphy of the Roman Empire used Rabbinic Hebrew, their
study may help us to realize the use of the Torah in these periods.
