conveniently "found" it to bring it to Josiah. Furthermore, Josiah himself
had to be in the plot, because a newly authored book would have been evident
by the condition of the parchment.
But there is no evidence for their position outside of their
presuppositions, their religious faith. And none for our side either other
than the expectation that the anonymous historian who authored Kings was
honest and informed.
