Welcome to the club. I'm not on there either. I'm rather busy currently,
but just because I'm not on the roadmap by name does not stop me from
helping and doing stuff. I do hope it doesn't stop you either.

But why not discuss? iirc, we /usually/ discuss and do not just wait for
a lead to say something.

Right now, I see the following:
-- USB CDROM (includes anything it needs - USB controllers etc.)
- in kernel
Pro: <fill me>
Contra: <please add>
- on initrd
Pro: needed to mount ISO
Contra: increases initrd size
- on CD
Pro: <...>
Contra: Not any help anymore there.
(you can't put the key to the safe inside the safe)

-- USB keyboard (also includes all this needs)
- in kernel
Pro: Needed to be able to input anything
Contra: bloats kernel size
- on initrd
Pro: <...>
Contra: Without auto-detection you have no way to load it
- on CD
Pro: <...>
Contra: Way too late too

Anyone want to add/fill any in?
Any comments?

So Far,
Karsten
