I'm running the latest devel sorcery and glibc, and my only problem is GCC (there's a bug, don't recall the number). Everything else, including a lot of different stuff recompiled after glibc 2.3.1, runs great.

Hey Julian,

This post was Monday, yet there's no ldconfig fix in either the test or
devel grimoires. What's shakin'? Isn't this a bug that needs to be
resolved before we go RC1?

Probably only for 2.4, not 2.3.x. Anyway, I hope that the update
problem is solved when I add ldconfig to the BUILD script.
I am going to update the glibc spell this evening.

Julian,

I am seeing lots of problems with everyone on irc... lockexec is having problems with boxes that are trying to make the transistion... I am thinking about bumping the glibc back down in test if this does not get sorted out today.... I would like to pull into stable for rc1 later tomorrow (so entire world gets a full 24 oct to fix stuff)....
