Ironically, on the web...another example of very careful and smart choices around technology vs. culture made by e.g. the Amish.
Lucky you can get stuff like that at thrift stores!
Designing any kind of fluid flow system to *depend* on fossil-fueled pumps (which includes grid electric and in the long run anything that can't be used/maintained without the current gloabl fossil-industrial systems) is a basic design flaw, unless it's intentionally transitional somehow.
