I'm wondering why, instead of all these projections, insinuations and
accusations, you don't just get on with sorting out your own PC design
course. Buy (if that's not an anathema to you, in which case I'm sure you
can steal them from some unethical, profit oriented alternative bookshop- or
else get them from the library) Mollison's Designers manual, Dave Holmgren's
'Beyond Sustainability' and a few other texts (I'd particularly recommend
Patrick Whitefield's new 'Earthcare Manual' if you are in a cool temeperate
area), maybe Fukuoka's 'One Straw Revolution', Chris Alexander's 'Pattern
language', some books on self build, community economics (g LETS Systems,
etc) and a few others, get together with some like minded folk in your area
and work through these as a co-led study group.

When myself and a group of friends wanted to build a compost toilet but
couldn't afford a course, we didn't go on the compost toilet building
discussion list and whinge about it, we bought a couple of cheap books, set
up a workshop weekend and got together and taught ourselves and each other.
And had a great laugh doing it.

If permaculture isn't about self empowerment and taking responsibility then
it's about nothing.
