Lawrence,

Mostly I'm very curious about where you are going with this PC
knowledge-base wiki thing. So far everything you are talking about
seems exactly like my personal long term goals for HG. I suspect that
we may be on different pages about where HG is headed both immediately
and long term. When I did my visioning for Eden I came up with:
Likewise I'm a bit curious myself.

I think close intergration of a plant database and a knowledge
base would strengthen both. There will be a higher visability
and hits for a combined resource.

I've long felt the permaculture on the web has been very fragmented
and my hope with the pcpdb project is that we can bring
a number of important resources together. The whole is greater
than the sum of its parts. Hopefully the pcpdb project will
be broard enough for may sub project inside it.

This is one of the reasons why I think actually meeting
physically is important. We could actually do some colective
visioning. I'm thinking that some of the money might be better
spent on travel rather than paying my wages.

Sorry for silence re pfaf dataset/photos. I'm trying to
arrange a meeting with pfaf folks to really discuss this ourselves
(hopefully sunday). The worry for us is of the database forking
with two versions, but I guess we'll have to live with that.
