Caution!--peanut butter seems to be the universal bait. I would not trust it
to not attract a cat.

Original message--------------------------

....... And cats, (which can climb), have no
interest in sticking their heads into the trap because they are not attracted
in any way by the
peanut butter or grain bait. (But don't bait the trap with meat!)

My three cats have no interest in peanut butter. But all of them like to poke
their heads into boxes and holes. I wouldn't want a Kania trap anywhere they
could get at it.
