I meant--away from foot paths or traffic. I've broken a lot of branches by bumping them. My only plant is maybe 10ft tall. It's in part shade and flowers regularly. I've never had any nuts/seeds. Maybe it's self-sterile.

This is great news, cuz I'll never get as cold as you. What do you mean by
locate carefully? & how big is your tree after 10 years? Supposedly the get
20 feet high.
