I have Parafilm M because that's what I found for sale, and I had no idea
they made a product marketed for grafting. It is because it is so stretchy
that it doesn't work by itself as a "binder" for grafting. I also have a
stick of grafting rubbers, and I am perfectly satisfied with what I have, but
if I didn't already have a roll of Parafilm M, I would be very interesting in
"grafting Parafilm". I find the width of the roll of Parafilm M to be a bit
of a nuisance; I often cut it in half or thirds if I want a piece longer than
that width. (That is, if I want a short piece, I just cut an inch or so off
the end of the roll, but if I want a piece longer than the roll is wide, I
cut the length I want and then slice that piece into 2 or 3 pieces
lengthwise.)
