I know that you cannot mix Captan and Sulfur, but you can mix Captan and Malathion, which are 2 of the products in Bonide's Fruit Tree Spray. My rule of thumb is "When in doubt, don't!" But to be correct, try the jar test by mixing the appropriate rates in a quart jar to test compatibility. Then spray some on a test tree or part of a tree to see if there are phytotoxicity issues.

Windy here too. I'm a little behind on my fungicide spray. It's petal fall
time, it's supposed to rain again, and I haven't had time to do a petal fall
spray yet :(

Question. What about the combination of sulfur and malathion? I gather that
they shouldn't be tank mixed, is that correct (the respective labels have no
information either way).

Can they be sprayed separately a few days apart?

Thanks for the info!

Although the Mancozeb I found isn't rated for apples, I'd forgotten that
I did find some Immunox (myclobutanil) which is. So I do have another
choice, in addition to Captan.

But I'm having a hard time finding a day calm enough to spray. This is
Nebraska, after all. :-)
