Anyone know any low or no-toxic methods to vacate a large yellow jack type wasp nest? Thanks!

I have a favorite way to deal with yellow jacket nests in the ground. If they are near the house (and if not, I would be leaving them alone anyway) I run an extension cord to fairly near the nest. Then I bring out my shop vac and put an inch or two of water in the bottom with a squirt of dish soap. I place the end of the hose, with solid extensions, right next to the entrance. I plug it in and turn it on. If it's a nice sunny day with lots of activity, leaving it run for about an hour will catch very nearly every active adult.
Of course, if it's an established nest, more adults will emerge in a few days. Once, a skunk dug up the nest and finished it off. Other times, I have had to spray a little insecticide into the nest after a 2nd session with the shop vac.
