Hello,
Is there anyone in Canada growing Alwood grapes that is willing to sell a few
cuttings?
For those that now wonder; "What is the Alwood grape?" "ALWOOD: Recommended
as suitable for cool
climate regions. Is an early ripening American labruscana variety, derived
from an Athens X
Fredonia cross, having tight clusters of large berries. Often needs
cluster-thinning because of
tendency to overcrop. Recommended for juice, jelly or fruity wine production
in New York state and
other favorable cool climate regions." [THE SUPER GIGANTIC Y2K WINEGRAPE
GLOSSARY]
Send me an email if you can part with a few cuttings. Canada only.
Thanks,
Tom
